copper/silver hoarding

I was thinking about getting a coin comparitor or rydale for cents and maybe bags of coins. What do you think? Is copper hoarding worth it? I was thinking of selling all copper pennies for 1 and a half cents (since there worth 2 cents in copper) and setting all profit aside to buy silver. What do you think?

Also I picked up 2 2013 uncirculated silver eagles for much under spot, actually they where only 1 dollar a price! Got them as change from the local McDonald's!

i'll admit, I'm jealous. haha. just a bit of advice, I'd refer to them as golden sacageweas (sp?) instead of gold indians. it wiould be much clearer. congrats! my best find in change was a war nickel.
