Copper hoarders, a question.

There are some pretty big copper mines around. AZ comes to mind. The lake superior stuff in the cooper range was so pure they couldn't figure out how to mine it. Blast it, it just plumps. Try to saw it out LOL...

Been scrapping copper since at least 1977.I,ve got several hundred pounds in various stages of prep for sale so I,d really like to see it go up.The biggest problem I see is that unlike scrap dealers in earlier days, todays dealers are mostly interested in how lowball they can get your stuff for by finding some minor problem in a batch and then try to apply that to your whole load.I understand that there,s a lot of cheating with sellers in this field and the dealer has to make money too but I always sort my stuff by type and grade and go to great lengths to insure that what I have is the real deal. and no hidden weight boosters.if I feel like I,m being done unfairly I just refuse to sell. Not busting out all dealers, but the good ones are getting harder to find.
