Makes me think of the tip to a CW Bayonet Scabbard. Its not exactly like the ones I've seen but pretty close. I know there were different styles. The two holes would have been were it was pinned to the leather scabbard.

Pocahontas died in England, but candle snuffer sounds more plausible.
