The feathers make it look like a German 3rd Reich coin .. but I think they were zinc and not copper.

DSCF0211.webp i turned it the right way! he is holding it upside down to the camera! i also inverted the colors to see it maybe better (hope thats ok?) I see a 1 and an eagle foot holding arrows

Yes, Massachusetts. Near Boston.

Someone on another forum thinks it's Dutch, but I can't find any dutch coins that look like this.

Are you sure you see an eagle? This is the first type of thing that came to mind when I seen it.There's enough there to match so you should be able to figure it out, just a matter of matching that design at the edge.

So my guess would be either Germany, or Austria, but I'd also look at Russia too. There's lots of fairly similar European coppers.

An exact measurement of the coin would help a lot. And the weight if you can get it.

As IP said, there are LOTS of similar coins but I think there is enought here to iD this one. We just need a little more info.

Will post more pictures tonight. Also, the rim is "dimpled," not sure if that's the right term. But it runs along the rim.
