I'm new to the hobbie and just joined here. I only have a few hours on my AT Pro and already have great confidence in this unit. Took me a while to learn what "can slaw" sounded like but eventually got a copper buckle amongst it (8" deep"). Now I know what that slaw sounds like and how to distinguish a good target from a bad one.
The best tip I found is to use the ProPointer before digging if I thought it was a mowed up can. Most of them were just under the surface and easy to identify (took me a while to learn that).
On to the good stuff, or some may say NOT so good stuff
Im pretty sure the buckle is copper due to the green patina, found about 8" down in nice farm dirt. It appears the clasp part was iron? You can see a little rust on the hinge part and where it used to rest on the buckle. A modern bullet (30/30 or 270?). A 1982 copper lincoln cent and I think a brass tarp grommet.
