Cool old Matchbox car, clad, other odds and ends...

I went to a school on Saturday that I hadn't ever hit before, found mostly clad, wasn't really getting too much good stuff then I noticed a path leading into the woods behind the school. I was only in the woods about 1/2 hr. but did find a 1950 Wheat, a car gascap, a couple of things? that i don't know what they are and a cool old Matchbox Station Wagon. I looked up the Matchbox online and it looks like it's from 1968...almost 40 years old! Definitely my oldest one yet! Also found the dog collar tag...looks like it's from 1920 something (the last number is missing on the date)
I also included a couple of pics from a couple of things I got at a coin store...a nice set of 1961 coins and a 1970 Misstruck Quarter that I thought was pretty cool. I paid $10 for them both...

I had that match box when I was kid, ok I am still one. Now I wish my mom gave away my car collection when went in to the army years ago

Hey Bro,
I think the metal tube with the ring on the end may be a dog whistle? I've seen them before and it looks alot like the ones I have seen. Test it out on a neighbor's dog and see if it works :P

The Matchbox car is in about the same condition as every car I have ever seen you own and drive

I was kinda also thinking dog whistle but I'm afraid to put my mouth on it...haha! And that comment about the cars...lol Hey it's a classic! Just like all my old beat up cars were! haha! You watch, someday I'll win the lottery and own a nice Corvette or something!

hey bill,nice finds.try the whistle out,blow up a baloon and let it deflate into the whistle,see if that works.or just give charlie a dollar,maybe he will blow into it .try it on rommel next time we get to NJ.nice car also,looks like the family truckster,from national lampoons vacation .like jean said,looks like some of your best cars,lol.nice one jean.
