Stopped by a spot quick today during my usual work schedule that i knew had some serious age to it. I confirmed it with a 20 minute swing and found a 1815 halifax token, 1730’s george iii half penny and a Georgian royal sapper & miner military button. Nothing found today is in great shape at all but i cant wait to see what else is there to find next time. With 100 hour work weeks its nice to get any swing time in. Thanks for looking! That site sure has some interesting potential. Congrats and good luck on your future hunts!

Congratualtions on the nice finds! :occasion14:

Definitely a good start. Every time I dig the similar made Artillery I hope it's a Sappers, but never is. That's a keeper.

Those are some real nice finds. Only took 20 min...Congrats!

I wish it held up better. Maybe if there was a wax or some type of treatment to keep in the bag just in case to treat finds like this right away. In the field i could read the words clear as day but by the time i got home it dried out and most if not all of the patina/finish flaked right off! [emoji17]
