Confirmed Identifications of previously posted finds ….

On Friday we went to the local museum to meet the Local FLO to collect some finds that we had taken in to be logged on the Portable Antiques Scheme that operates here in the uk https://finds.org.uk/database/artefacts/record/id/1132458

So have added pictures taken from the web site giving details of the finds…, I suppose I should go thru my previous Todays Finds posts and update them…. but…. im taking the easier option! 😆 xx

Spotted a couple of mistakes;

'Stud' is an Iron Age Toggle, similar;

Celtic Iron-Age Clothing Toggles - Celtic Antiquities | Ancient & Oriental

A group of Celtic Iron-age bronze toggles for fastening one section of clothing to another (before the use of buttons). A. Length 4.3 cms. B. Length 5.1 cms.

'Spur' is part of a Gag Loop (harness equipment)
'Bracelet' is part of a Georgian shoe buckle
