CONFEDERATE Cast I Button

I've been wanting to hunt this yard forever. It's in a fantastic location and probably has been hit hard over the years. But now new homeowners and when I finally talked to the new homeowner it took a year for him to decide to let me detect his yard. Of course he tells me he bought a detector and wanted to try his yard out over this time..lol

Anyway, I was surprised at the amount of trash in the yard. Geeez. It was trying my patience but scored a number of really nice bullets along with the beautiful Cast I button. It's my second one dug here at the Battle of Nashville. In Perfect shape too. Photo is before and after cleaning. This one came out a chocolate brown which I love. The other one (posted previously) has a green patina.

any day finding a CS button is an awesome day indeed. I have yet to find my first though I have hunted CS sites. The fellows who were at the sites I hunted always had either eagle or civilian buttons. I hope to get one someday.... congrats...
