So this is how it happened... I was scouting a favorite spot to see if the weeds have died off yet so we can detect it... Well the weeds are 3 ft high still ARG. So I hit a spot along the roadway I have hit a dozen times with my Musky and others have too. Now using the Sovereign Elite I wanted to see if I missed anything...
Well I found a watch key winder, a few flat buttons, and some scrap lead and brass. I hit a signal that was low, very low on the Sov, like foil low with a null mixed in. At 4" along with a nail comes this beauty. Possibly the only CS button dug in NJ (hopefully lol)... Sadly it's only the front of the 2 piece, the back was no where to be found... But it is what it is and may be the only time I ever find one!! Needless to say I knew exactly what I was lookin at when it came out of the sandy soil, and I surely did the chicken dance!! Anyone able to ID it?? It's a cuff button.
