Re: Anyone collect really old vintage machines?

I get a kick out of these old machines. I wouldn't worry too much about whether it works or not, it's unlikely someone would want to use it in the field.

The twin meters is different. I've never seen one like it. Luckily I don't have the room for these old timers, as I would end up with a room full.

Got this old White's Nugget Master the other day.
The guy I got it from said it works, but??? who knows.
It needs a few things, but it's still a cool piece of detecting history.

Needs: Batteries (may battery pack?)
Down tube (I was just going to cut a piece of ABS or PVC)
There is a switch on the front face that looks like it might be missing a knob.

Still would be cool if somone could get it working.
$25 plus shipping which I can quote you if you send me your zip.

Send it to White's and THEY WILL very likely fix it. I have heard tales of White's treating each detector, young or old, like their prized creation. Fortunately for me, living in Oregon, if I need such service, I just drive it to White's in Sweet Home, OR
