compact cases

Not much today got rained out just after we started. Managed to pull part of a spur and the top of a compact. Which leads me to a question. Are any of yall plagued with finding makeup compacts? Three out of my last four outings at different locations I've pulled a compact top. One I was able to find out some info on Princess Pat circa 1930-34 rouge. They aren't good relics to me but hey I found em.

About ever old home site i find one...today i found a 1920s lipstick with lipstick actually still inside. HH

That's neat. We thought there was an old homeplace or two at the site we were gonna work today. Theres actually a couple old roads "wagon roads" that cross the property and we had just started working the actual road bed when I found that one today. I'm a little optimistic about the place but its 500 acres and we are the only ones that have been allowed to hunt it since this guy has owned it. We wasn't there long but hopefully we can find the homesites. The owner says he thinks there's two or three home sites there.

A long long time. I'm thinking its gonna be our place when we have no where else to go. Its very trashy lots of iron, cans, and those unforgiving pulltabs are everywhere.

have found quite a few of them over the years some of them have a lot of detailed designs on them.found a few whole ones that I was hoping to have a coin inside but no luck yet

That'd be nice never thought about them holding coins and possibly jewelry. Thanks there's an upside to finding them...

I've found plenty of them over the years and I don't mind ever digging them because that means that your detector is working like it should. Same thing for shotgun shells. Tennessee digger

Yea tons of shotgun shells and 22 hulls. I've only had my detector for a little over a month got the AT Pro and I'm loving it. My hunting buddy just bought a minelab explorer he hasn't learned it yet I'm smoking his butt on our outings. But the sg and 22s I'm starting to learn most of the good brass on mine registers around 43-45 sg hulls around 53, bullets are kinda funny they jump around a lot from around 69 - 75 sometimes hitting a little higher or lower most pulltabs hit around 65-67, I dig a bunch of those... anyway thanks all of yall! Can't wait till my next outing... Hunt hard hunt safe my friends!!!
