Community Center find's today....

This is the first building you see when you pull into my development, mail boxes to the left and a view of the valley below. It's an older structure (rock foundation) that was saved when they actually created the community....Don't really know the history of this place, only been here less than 2 year's.Found 3 wheat's,44,47,and a 56d and eveything else is in the low 60's or 70's but no silver......Any MXT user's out there with any helpful hint's?There's alot of trash to weed through but you would figure I would find at least one.I'm only 3 house's down from this place so it's easy for me to swing anytime. It's gotta be there some where.Just call me Mr. Clad for now :)

OK MR CLAD... ;D

Nice knife...

I don't swing an MXT but the same problem...

Civ...was the place re-graded??? I gotta old 1902 school down the street...it was also used for community gatherings...discussions, planning, etc. You know the governing types...you would think the place would produce something...was there sunday for awhile...the neighbor comes over...shows me pics of when his father was there...totally different...maybe bud who knows...

Keep it up...and good luck???

Nick
Hey Nick...we just got a newsletter about a week ago showing the old bath house built in 57' and everything is still pretty much the same,no re-grading at all.Just alot more junk to weed through now I guess....Thank's

Re: Community Center find's today....

Once you get some of the surface items out of the way, your detector will start to read the older silver coins.
That looks like a great location for it also !!!!!!!!!! :)

Re: Community Center find's today....

Great looking site, Civil! 8) I don't know if my advice is worth very much, but here ya go.

I always hunt in relic mode, cause it gives you two different tones to listen for. I always listen for the higher pitch tone and dig everything in the positive numbers. Now you probably know all this already, but just in case.... gold and buttons sound a bit different but still have the positive numbers. Some say gold 'rings in' like a pull tab, and sometimes it does on the numbers, but... the sound of gold is different than pull tabs. Pull tabs 'ring' really loud but the gold has a bit of a deeper sound. Follow? AND when there's lots of iron around, sometimes the good targets don't have the number reading you may expect from them. For example..I was hunting in a trashy area and got a reading of 28+. Now I didn't know what to expect when I was diggin the hole, but out pops a Merc! ( low reading for a merc) Go very slow in the trashy areas! Guess my advice is to dig everything in the positive numbers. :D Geeze...maybe I didn't help you at all! :P

Congrats on your finds and the silver is waiting on you.

Nana :)
