Finally. I thought I had a hammered English at first, until I saw 'ole Phil's name.

Its numismatic value is worthless, but it means the world to me!

Nice one to get off your back Greek ! Rick is right ! It took me 5 and 1/2 years to find my first Spanish silver , I have found 4 more in the last 2 and a half years , We are not digging in Virginia Greek ! Nice first ! MaineRelic

Finding Spanish silver is the best! I don't care if there is no numismatic value in most of them! That's an awesome find!

Same story here, 5 or 6 years for the first, got 6 mostly 2Rs the next year, and 2 so far this year, including the 8R. I'm feeling very lucky as they with one exception (bent/crack) have been in really nice condition.
