Been hunting this field for just 4 times now and my last time there (July 9) gave me my first "old" silver.

Looking thin in the hole, I knew from the solver edge that it was very likely Spanish.

Other older finds include an escutcheon plate, flat buttons and utensil handle.

A+++ McD! I've mentioned it before, but I was through your part of the sandbox for work last year and got to sightsee for a half day and boyoboy did I wish I had my machine...the history in that area...through Chesapeake Bay...was breathtaking! A lot of history there my friend...congrats on the old Spanish...Ddf
