What are the odds, No one found Center lane ?

Today the Map could be tested for age.
Canton flannel
a plain-weave or twill-weave cotton fabric with a long, fleecy nap usually on one side only, used for sportswear, undergarments, backings and linings, etc.
Origin of Canton flannel

1880–85; after Canton, China.

5 Meter ? Dig 16 Feet ? Don't seem Plausible to expect his Daughter to Dig 16 Feet, No matter what the Age. But maybe that's just Me.

or is 5 M Other then 5 Meters ?

I like good treasure stories so I had to take a look. I found after a little map searching using Google, that about 450 meters north of the Bayard House location, there is currently a road called West Division Street. This could very well have been Center Lane at one time. After a little measuring, it looks like the gold is buried behind the modern Faith House Outreach Center in a little patch of trees that divide the property between the outreach building and South Governors Avenue. Being about 15 feet deep....it may still be there. I will claim my bounty upon you digging it up lol. I would show pics but not with this complicated tablet...

Yup, that is the empty lot I was seeing too. Has a no trespassing sign back there. But near the back of that lot is where x marks he spot, or underneath the rear property of the old homes on governors ave...the road just beyond this lot.
