Because people are afraid of big new restrictions making some of this product unavailable in the future. Same thing happened after first Obama election when folks thought he would be coming after their guns. Get big biz and NRA to stir up the fear level and all the lemming start running off the cliff. NRA ends up with a huge pocket full of new members and donations and record sales for big gun.

Studied down at the us army war college in Carlisle pa - now a little something about that stuff.

Comment was meant to convey my very very strong belief that the us government will not be sending fighter jets and tanks into West Virginia to kill off its population. Maybe a movie or video game - not real life. Are you folks really serious or are you pulling out legs with this stuff??

One looks at all the possibilities but then must weigh the Probabilities - correct? Anything under the sun can happen, but some things are much much much less likely to occur. I would place the chances of jets and tanks invading West Virginia to kill off Americans to be in that category. I would put being struck by lightening as being significantly more possible. I also had put incredibly low odds on the Mayan end if the world at the end of last year. Have great odds, but even the most die hard fans weren't willing to put their money were their mouths were. Best
