Congrats

There is a nice coin

What are the meaning of those initials?
I found this on another site. It explains the counterstamped coins better than I can.

In the 19th Century, especially from about the 1820's to the 1880's it was a common practice to counterstamp coins for any number of reasons. Sometimes businessmen did so to advertise their business, othertimes political slogans were stamped on coins. Many personal "pocket pieces" are also known where people stamped their names on coins and carried them in a pocket or on a chain around their neck. I always like the flying eagle coin, when I dug this one in a cellar I was working in I was very happy, love the way the eagle is

Don’t fret Bart, someday you’ll find something good

My oldest is 1909 wheat penny. My neatest are the tax tokens I’ve found. 2 in NM and 2 in AZ. I’d love to go east and find an old silver coin

These two aren't very exciting but kind of neat found them near each other and these came from next to my home here in central California so how they got here I have no idea.

Unfortunately in California I've had no luck with coins all my many years of metal detecting. Nothing significant for me just a few common silver coins. Though I look forward to seeing everyone's cool coins and getting jealous lol
Yup, me too! On the jealousy part. Very happy others have cool finds from time to time. I just returned to the sport with my young son in tow. He's already discovered treasure! Well, a quarter and a dime....might as well be Viking gold the way his face lit up!

Lol little ones always find joy in any finds. Was doing some detecting at a fishing spot that once had a old town before they put a lake in. Little kids where following me around in awe of just the change lol. I hope I get to live in a old mining town called Hornitos soon I'll be given access to a lot of cool permissions and the place I may live on is one of the original old buildings from the 1800s so maybe things will change.
