Thanks for taking the time and comment.

What detector are you using?

I have been using Nox 800 but I never heard how is the sound and ID target of a gold coin.

Best regards, happy new year
Deus ll detector.
Honestly probably most detectors would of picked up the full Sovereign.
It was the only coin I have found at the site.

Happy New Year to you, and your hunting mates.
All the best for the 2025 season.

Jorgeke The MOST memorable coin that would be in my collect would be the ONE GOLD ONE YOUJ are going to SEND ME :) HEHEHE

My oldest is a 1736 Netherlands silver, A U S 1803 Half cent I also have 6 silver dollars I found in a floor joist of a old abandoned house

Here in Texas any Gold Coin would be at the top of the list. Realistically a War Nickle is a great find. I have found Silver Dollars and a few War Nickles myself but I have been hunting many years.

Gare, if I find one of these, I'll send it to you...

SD my coin collections do not mean much to me anymore. I am pretty well set in life for the few years i have left. I thank you for the offer but what would I do with it. The other day a fellow friend of mine gave me a @,5 Gold coin and I did not want it but he insisted i take .

If I may be so bold ..I think one of these would be anyone's dream find!

Here in England i've been lucky enough to find five Gold coins over the past three years (three came all in one week) the first was 1774 the last 1893.
Yet I'm expecting to get more money for this unassuming little silver coin than all the other five put together.
It's a funny old game detecting. Sometimes those that don't glitter are better than those that do.
Here's the little treasure....
