CoinStar Surfing Log...

Great job on the record keeping !

I've kept detailed records on my metal detecting finds since day one - started 16 years ago.
But I just put any CoinStar finds I get (not all that many) in a small box - no records kept.

Thanks for the kind words.

I've been thinking about using a window washer squeegee or whatever they're called...but something flatter may work better....nice to see I'm not the only one thinking this...being discreet and quick is probably a good idea...
I have a story relating to this type of treasure hunting. It was the day that I found all of those wheats, and I found four wheats in the bank coin-counter reject tray, I then looked under the machine and there were a bunch of wheats. I then asked the teller to clean out the trash bin inside the machine for me, which that always happily do at this bank, and guess what was in it, more wheats! I ended up with 95 wheats, a 1953 Canadian cent, and $3.15 in random change, all for free. It was my greatest free find ever.
