Did the routine coin drop at the Coinstar machine today and heard the sweet sound of silver dropping down in the coin return. There it was a 1960 dime:laughing7:

I alway check my clad first before turning it in although my old eyes are not what they use to be.I am just glad the machine kicks back the silver that I miss.

Happy Hunting!:hello:

Is that machine crazy, or you have it well trained? A silver kick back awesome!

I'm surprised they haven't developed a system that sorts silver into a separate bin for them to keep
LOL ...I am sure that will be next once they figure out the machine kicks back all the silver:laughing7:

wow lucky you!

WOW Nothing like silver no matter what way you find it....LOL.....Nice:hello2:

I've mentioned it a couple years back. Keep an eye on the kick out chute. I've dumped some pretty lousy coins in the coinstar by me. And it's kicked out wheats that I've missed. Come to find out that one of the ways they sense fakes is weight. So Wheaties & silver will be rejected.

If you use coinstars regularly take a pencil with bubblegum or something sticky on the end. Used to work revenue protection for a store that had one. I pulled a lot of earrings & charms out of the tray with the holes. Can't beat free gold & silver!

Sweet Kevin ! You don't even have to dig it up , just pluck it from a machine ! That's why your the silver Slayer
