Hi folks, As you know we volunteer for a kids metal detecting program, here in North Carolina.
This program has kids getting outside and away from the television sets.
Of course I don't make a penny on it, so it's difficult to buy the treasures. We get anywhere from 80-140 6-14 year old kids per week during the summer, so as you can see we would go through quite a bit. The pit was built by myself an a couple of other volunteers. The sand, grass etc...was also donated. So even a couple tokens, or coins or marbles would be gladly accepted. Thank you for your interest in supporting the program.

I'll even pay the shipping.

Thank you for helping make a difference!

The kid on the far left of the photo was really excited. He really was :D

you can count on my sending some stuff

just noticed that in the picture there is one child that is hooked on metal detecting
while ever one was holding their machines over their heads she was still busy detecting

She does look pretty zoned on her signal :) ....Hope everyone will take a little out of their treasures to donate to the kids.
