Hello all; I have tried to find out about these coins ever since I refound them several weeks ago. I do not have very much info.on them, can't even find a date, they appear to be heavy, but I think just gold plated. There are five total, No.1 is called a Hilo Dollar with a Queen on front with a date on the right side of 1836-1917 and on the back ALOHA on top, and on thge bottom HILO. No.2 KAUAI DOLLAR on top HAWAII on bottom and a man's face inside a brick looking structure. On the back HAWAII on top, KAUAI on bottom with the words chamber of commerce, I'm wondering if these fdollars are trade dollars? Please don't laugh because i've never tried to find out about them before. And i don't have a way to get pictures or know how to post them even if I had a way to photo. them.

In the late eighties, Hawaii stopped being a soveriegn kingdom and became a territory of the US. Your coins may have some collector value, but were not minted currency. They sound more like trade tokens or commercial commemoratives. We would need some good pictures to give any hard info.

Thanks , those are exactly what I was looking at. I at least have a way to find out if there is a way to sell them now, you people are great! Again, thanks. btw, there are three more, I just hope it is possible to find a buyer case. I forgot to mention that they are in a plastic case and have coins of hawaii right on top and in the middle. It is some kind of heavy cardboard . Maybe a collector item?

your welcome. I'm sure they have some value as a collector/souvenir set. I'm not a collector of that type of item so I have no idea what the value might be. I would suggest you stop by a couple of coin shops in your area and see what they have to say about them.
