Coin Wars

With so much competition everywhere. Today, I wanted to get a box of pennies and didn't have cash. I used a couple half dollar rolls that I usually put in with my dumps to get the cent box. Anyhow, the bank I went to that is out of my usual area and I was told there's a bunch of CRHer's that frequent the place. Well, I thought what the heck, I used a few older paper rolls and wrote 1965 & 1967 on two of them. It was funny, I told the tellers there, if you want to get those pesky CRHers to stop, give them these. I told them that what I wrote what would look really good to the CRHers that they would buy them for sure. They were all laughing like crazy about it like it was some awesome prank. Sounded like they were getting too many CRHers. They did say that all of the CRHers were older. Then I joked and said "you know the show 'Whale Wars' on TV?, well this is 'Coin Wars!". They were cracking up. These were a couple of male tellers. They were actually really cool and let me search some rolls they had in the vault and give them back to them. The rolls were all skunks. It always seemed as though guys are more cool with the hobby than female tellers. I thought it was an interesting and funny story. So all those CRHers out there in my area, if you see a roll with 1965 & 1967 written on it and the paper looks old, don't get it. I gave fair warning.

See again we are a lil different over here in the south. Ya get friendly with some male tellers for any more than 2 minutes and you best be talking football or you get some strange looks. Groups of men laughing outside of the local beer joint setting gets discussed with funny smirks at church on sundays.

In all seriousness though. If you want to get back at some Crhers sniffing around in your territory at least write "walkers" bens" 1964s" and plate the rims of them all, geez. Dont waste a perfectly good prank once past the wrapper.

They gave some old looking paper wrappers too so if I want to put skunk rolls in them, they would look real good to other CRHers. Gonna put 1955 Frankies on the next one. Maybe I should write "Barber" on them.. some old CRHer seeing the roll would have a heart attack. Seeing the old wrapper, they would think that after discovering the roll was a skunk that it was once a full roll of Barbers.

Let the Coin Wars begin.. LOL

I dump all of mine in a machine so I don't have to roll them but If I did, that would be funny shiznet right there. And to plate the edges would give some old geezer a heart attack......
