Coin? Token? - I know it's a longshot, but here it is..........

I dug this at a mid-1800's house today. Not sure if it is a coin or token? up. I have no clue what it is. It is either copper or brass, has a plain rim (not reeded) edge, weights 3.5 grams, and measures 23mm in diameter. I thought it may be a 2-cent coin (also 23mm), but it is smooth as a babies butt on both sides. Only a few small bumps on one side.
I know there's not much to go on, but I thought it may be worth a try. ;D
Any ideas??
Thanks,
MM

Good grief, just re-read the original post where it said it weighed 3.5 grams. That rules out a U.S. error coin. Maybe foriegn. Prolly just a token though.

Jason

Thanks Jason.
I love your TN name & avatar. I've owned three 72' Chevy Cheyenne Supers. Two short beds & one long bed. I still think they are the best looking trucks Chevy ever made.

Thanks MM. Yea I have my grandads truck. He bought it new in 72, kept it in a garage its whole life, only got 78,000 miles on it. Best "treasure" I'll ever own!

OMG!!!! You lucky dog!!! Is it the yellow & white two tone like your avatar? I had two green & white two tones, both short beds. The third was the hugger orange long bed. That's one classic you will never lose $ on. As you know they have a large following.
Congrats. Your Grandad was a smart man. My neighbor a few doors down has his Dad's 1969 Chevy truck, red & white. A real beauty, but I still love the 71 & 72 grills best.
Sorry, I forgot this was a metal detecting post. I guess the old trucks qualify though because there were still made of metal back then. ;D
