Hello everyone, I hit a new spot today that a freind at work told me about. He said it was city property and he played football there with the neighbor kids when he was a kid. So I went down there and got out the dfx and started walking towards the empty feild when a man met me at his backyard fence and asked if i'd found anything yet. I told him I was just getting started and asked if the city owned the lot and he said yes. He went on to tell me that he used to detect years ago and already hit it finding a bunch of silver dimes and quarters along with one half dollar. I talked to him for a few more minutes and began working it back and forth. After about the third pass, I started getting a big signal in one small area about six inches square so started digging and probing and digging and probing ending up with 9 wheaties 34-52d and 3 nickels 41,42d,43d-silver. Some were stacked on top of one another as you can see in the picture from one side being clean. These were all 6-7 inches deep. After that I went on to find a barber dime at 9-1/2 inches and every bit of that. Its a 1912-d in almost fine condition. Also a U.S. military button, couple more wheaties and some misc. I only had time to work about half the feild today but will return a few more times hitting it in a couple different directions. Thanks fer lookin'.
