I am excited to re find this. Found these in Southern Indiana. I found them all in a 6' area. The oldest is 78, newest is a 13.. I did find a 88 indian. Read some were about the double die, 8 over 7. Great finds! That must have been so fun to pop that many Indians out of such a small area. Congrats!
 

Yeah I got on my hands and knees with my probe. I knew it was a coin spill..

Nice I have an area full of Indian heads I'm hunting now. I love finding them my oldest is a 63

Jefferson County. The dates are 1887,88 and what looks like a second 88, 93, 03, 06, 07, 07, 10, 11, and two 1913 Lincoln's. Whats the best way to clean them with out removing the green patina???
What county in S. Indiana? I hunt in the Evansville, Vanderburgh area.....
