I found my coin of a life time today

When out this morning with Cheffer and Secondstar, this was a spot the mike had found and up till today 8 large coppers have come out of the ground, most of them deep. We thought there might be more but we were unsure so went back today just to make sure, mike found 2 more coppers.
As I was swinging the O.R.X. I got a good signal around an 88 and this popped out of the ground. I did not know what it was so called Mike and Steve over to take a look.
Needless to say they could not believe it. Steve and Mike looked at me and said” do you know what you just found” ITS A COB 1689 from we believe from Lima Peru
Thanks Mike for the spot

Thats a great looking 1 real cob. Looks unclipped too and from Potosi not Lima. Congrats

Dang thats a treasure right there awesome find....

One drunken night at the tavern in 1763, old Ephraim had one pint too many. On the way out, he did a proper British faceplant in ye olde snow drift on the front lawn. After prying his furry hat out of the snowpack, and too drunk to realize his silver cob and a handful of coppers had gone flying, he stumbled home, only to realize the next day that his precious colonial loot was lost. Oh well, he won it in a colonial poker game anyway, so "easy come, easy go." It'll turn up sooner or later, right? (like in 2021).

You guys should post pictures of all your finds together for us from that one place. Please.??
