Coin? Medallion? Who knows?

I am posting this for a friend of mine. Can anyone identify what it is? My metal detector reads it as a pull tab or gold or bronze.

Sorry the picture of one side is a little blurry. I can repost if it is not clear enough.

My gut tells me modern copy, too, but what do I know about ancient coins. No doubt, the UK guys will sniff this one out in a hurry.

don't reconize the coin its copying but I think ancient Greek (circa 200BC) would be a good place to start.

Thats why I never look a VDU's & only trust my ears....

If a copy, it could be any mix of any metal, including silver...

Yes..turn off your screen, or mask it off, the headphones should tell you what to dig....not a screen
