I found this coin in a good colonial spot. Not much left but I can still see the bust. It was about 50 yards from where I found a William and Mary half penny and in the area where I have found several Spanish reales.

Possibly a Virginia half penny from what I can make out. I wish there was more on the reverse side. Anyone else able to see KGIII there looking right?

I see a bust looking right in pictures 1 and 3, but the chin seems sharper than KGIII's and the head seems smaller and closer to the top of the coin than on the KGIII's. The neck seems strangely straight up and down and long.
I spent about 15 min looking at other images but I don't see a good match - but I'm no expert.
I look forward to an expert chiming in.

As DCMatt said, if you could tell us the diameter in millimeters it would help. Or at least picture your coin with a known coin like a US penny or dime.

I'm thinking draped bust by the profile and seems to be a hint of a wreath on the back. Date is also off centered.

It measures 28mm but I was looking through some my other large cent finds and I think I found a Liberty Cap cent but never confirmed. The one on the left is the one I think is a Liberty Cap. The one I found the other day is slightly smaller.ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1614732775.109800.jpg

Either that or a liberty cap (although I can not see any part of cap but maybe we shouldn’t rule it out yet) from what I am seeing of the bust.

digger, here's your coin compared with some images of Liberty Cap cents from the internet.
I see the resemblance in the profile, but it seems like your coin's face and top of head are too close to the top of the coin. I don't think there would be room for the large "LIBERTY" to fit on your coin. And the neck that's visible on your coin doesn't seem to line up, to me anyway.
This is a good one - a tough ID. (and for the record I'm no expert, I'm just a guy with two eyes and a web browser).
