I agree with Deftone that it appears to be a Machins Mills copper halfpenny, but it's pretty banged up and pics don't always do justice. Take it to a professional coin dealer and see if he can add his opinion to it.

Agreed. Pretty sure it's not an regal issue British Halfpenny.

Machin's Mills Halfpenny for reference, though there are tons of difference varieties.

Can't say for sure what it is, but it is not a Machin's Mills halfpenny. The bust details are wrong.
