A friend found this in France just recently. Sorry about the pics as they are laying left. Tip them to the right once and they are correct. Coin has a big tapered shield in the middle, this wreath around it with big bow at the bottom. Crown on top. Possibly a token? Appears to be copper and similar in size to a Canadian large cent. Other side is hard to make out. Any help would be great. Thanks.

I think Icewing solved it. Plus the chances of an NJ copper found in France are much lower than a Sardinian coin.

France! Some times I just look at the pics and don’t read what people have to say! Cause most of the time it’s boring! Lol. Example....” I found this at a 1700 home stead near me”
