Coin help needed

I don't have a picture yet, however, a copper coin about 25% smaller than a Lincoln cent. Anyone have an idea. It's toast but it's still being cleaned. So right now it looks like a round blob. House was there before 1750. Maybe English? It is a milled coin, not a cob.

Yup. One other "dog food" coin from 2017 was a Maravedis about 450 years old, so you can't tell what's next.

with experience you can, that looked like no coin to me, hammered Spanish bronze are easy to spot, even with little detail.
