dirtdigginfool , I also spazz out when I dig a wheatie , and nearly faint when I find a silver coin , doesn't everybody ? Am I missing something here ?

No Argentium, nothing at all...I do the same! I envision someone across the park sering me do my happy dance at pulling a silver dime dime thinking...what the hecks up with that guy...and pulling their children closer. Randy is on his first full year of detecting and gets really, really excited over the simplest of finds, just like I did in my first year. No offense intended, Randy just cracks me up, and I can't wait to plant that fake cob, or coin.. and watch him dig THAT up! Ddf.

Tommy I'm pretty sure you HAVE one of those!!...It looks exactly like the fake/ornamental "coin" that comes with a new AT Pro and Max (maybe other Garrett detectors, not sure)...one of the useless trinkets you get with your "package" deal..lol. I've got 2 of those, just biding my time on when and where to plant it to freak my hunting buddy out! I mean, this guy gets excited over a clad quarter, spazzes out over wheaties and nearly faints digging silver...im going to have the camera ready when I do lol. We're getting ready to unleash our machines on a 650 acre farm with with known history this weekend so I might plant it and move on, knowing he likes to follow my path trying to find stuff I might've missed...Ddf.

Ya mean I spent $150 to have the coin that came with my ATP framed, and it's fake? Damn
