I hope somebody can help me ID this coin....it's still taking a bath in olive oil and I hope that more details will show up soon.

Maybe it's enough for you real professionals out there to tall me more and probably age?????

Coin was found in Germany and is bent.......

This is not an exact match, but your coin appears to be a one duit from Zeeland (part of the Netherlands) and probably from the earlier half of the 1700s.

Zeeland.jpg

I can see the Zeeland coat of arms on one side and, on the other, the large letters ‘DIA’ as part of the 'Zeelandia' inscription normally seen on non-VOC reverses. The one duit in copper would be in the region of 23mm and weigh a little under 4g. If yours is smaller, it will be a fraction of a duit.

wow this is a great ID!!! Many thanks for your help. Now that you are saying so I can read the DIA as well. The coin is VERY worn and paper thin and bended but revealing it's origin is awesome! A coin without knowing what it is is a piece of metal but a coin telling part of it's story is a great piece of history to me! Maybe my oldest coin as of yet. I have a X KREUTZER 1733 but this one could be older.

the area I live in (Much, Germany) old trade routes from the harbours in the Netherlands and Belgium all the way to eastern Europe, Turkey and even farther than that are known to pass through our area. It is amazing to find foreign coins in our fields and pastures. But for me it is even more amazing that some nice folks like Red-Coat and others seem to know them all!!! Many thanks!
