As I ask many questions, many give opinions. So a search coil that searches based or like a cone, more narrow downward means much can be missed sadly. Then you here more frequencies offer better recognition but won’t separate as well. Not confusing for me but why pay for a coil that doesn’t cover evening. If you believe the experts that narrow cone tip area it’s almost like finding a needle in a haystack, lol. I do directional signals not to miss. Why not have what gives you the best coverage and depth at the same time. I no ground conditions matter, getting next to fences, tree trunks etc. but really these coils can be expensive, you shouldn’t need no more than 2 or 3 for a machine.
