Coil help xterra 705 DD? HF?

I have the 705 gold and want a coil to go deeper. When I read threads I see DD, HF, etc. Can someone tell me what these mean? I don't hunt trashy areas and want a coil to go deeper on silver coins jewelry etc. Thanks

DD - Double D coil
LF - 3 kHz coils - great on silver coins, relics
MF - 7.5 kHz coils - good all around coils
HF - 18.75 kHz coils - best choice for jewelry and lower conductor targets

There is an X-terra book that Randy Horton wrote that explains the coils well. You can find it on the Minelab website. It is going to go into further detail than what Keith provided you. Here is a condensed explanation of the coils:

IMHO, I agree with Randy's take on the HF, 6" widescan coil. That is the one I mostly use.
