coded message on a rock.

The Expatriot Confederates also had settlements in British Honduras(Belize),including those of CSA Finance Agent of Europe,Colin J McRae,and Joseph Benjamin, brother of CSA Sec of State Judah P Benjamin and cousin of David Levy Yulee.

ECS: I have studied my tail off just trying to get a working knowledge of KGC, OAK, SOL, KOC, and AKOTOO. Or KT. The fine details of these orders that you have just blows my hair back. Man, You must have a cot at your local library.:icon_thumleft:

That is the reason I called it "the story of...",a campfire tale with cowboy coffee. :coffee2:
Did you notice the photos of caves and markings on that site, and the items that were found?
Thought that you would have found that interesting- :dontknow: :coffee:

ECS. I often try to be funny but most of the time i am just not funny. Sorry if I offended you in any way.:dontknow: I have herd many times of the 2 million and Joe Vaughn/Frank James. I know that there have been many professional treasure hunters hunt that. It is almost like oak Island, People have spent their life savings looking for that without anything to show for it. I suppose it is possible that some good hunter could have found it and never went public with the find. I guess that would be bad for others who have been spending their life savings looking.

Would you have a more direct link to what you are referencing? I must have missed it some how. I always find symbols of great interest. How they are used in different context.:coffee: Many Thanks

Pinwheel, after you hit the "Home" link, look to the left of the page and hit "various signs" and also "item found".
As with many treasure stories, especially CSA /KGC gold tales, one needs to discern if it is lore or legend based upon a tall tale,or if there is any historical reference to an actual event.
Sometimes,a story can included a real name and location, but lack a real date-Rebel-KGC coined the term "FACTION",fiction based on partial facts.
During the treasure mag heydays of the '50's &'60's,many of the articles were faction.
Someone dug that pit at Oak Island for some purpose, what,I don't know, nor does anyone else. All the treasure talk concerning that site,is conjecture, without any corroborative evidence.

ECS. I believe i found what you were referencing. I have tried to contact the owner of that web site, via the email address he has given on that same web site. I have tried several times that never went through. I would like a look at his book and video. I guess after Hillbilly Bob's last book came out it kind of put him out of business. He only lives about 20 miles form me. Regardless of what has been said, I would like to meet him and make up my own mind. There are other Web pages that discuss the wildcat bluff thing. Just a curiosity, did you know there was a wildcat bluff not far from hillbilly bob's home.

WC Jamison tells a good story about that raid and where the money is also. That is why I was laughing in that other post.
We all know if a book tells you where the booty is, It ain't there.

Has anyone tied a rubbing? I'm a newbie around here, so please humour me when I ask if anyone has considered that the symbols might be astronomical in nature? Remember, no laughing!!

Don't ever quit thinking that something could be astronomical. The K.G.C. had many surveyors and they were always referring to stars and constellation. Some for ritual meanings other than navigation.

Belle Starr was ALSO known in our Shenandoah Valley, here in Virginia (Shenandoah County). VERY important REBEL spy; didn't know that she was also in Arkansas; "her" face is DIRECTLY behind "HELMET Face". Being a VERY important CSA Spy, PROBABLY makes her KGC/OAK. AND! She was known during the CONFEDERATE WAR as Belle Boyd... check it out. BTW, Belle Starr was "involved" (lover?) with Cole Younger! HA!

OOh Rebel. I just finished the Book "Jesse James and the Lost Cause" Written by Jesse James III. According to Jr. after Belle Shirley and her friends were savagely raped by a platoon of Yankee solders, She became a CSA spy. He does not go into detail about where she went or how long she spied for the CSA. I can only imagine she only spied for less than 3 years. But that is just a WAG. He Does confirm That Jesse W. James and Not Jessie R.(Dingos) James Married Belle Shirley form Missouri. According to Jr., Dingos married his 1st cousin Zee Mimms from Kansas. Zee Was named after his Mother "Zeraldra James.

Anyways with Jesse W. , Jesse R. and Jesse M James all first cousins and all with a brother named Frank. All was active in the civil war, and all was active as outlaws with all the stories no wonder the historians could not keep it all straight.

One more thing that Jr. says is that there was two Belle Starrs. The Wife of Sam Starr and the sister of Sam Starr.
Now there is another one to keep up with.

On the Hunt, Hello. I see The letters LG or LJ and JL There is another larger L. and the last one is probably topographical. The letters may be a code or they could be the initials of some past residence of the community. The letter "L" can also mean " turn 90 degrees." I do not think there is enough context to make any snap answers. It looks to me like these scratches were made in a cave, is that right? There are some other things around the "J". Perhaps if you had some more pics it would help. With a second look the "J" may be a "5"

On The Hunt. That Jessy is very suspicious. That would not be one of the Jesse James as they never spelled their name with a Y. It was always an "E". However it may be some kind of a clue.
