This morning was very nice, unlike yesterday. As I walked out the condo I had a feeling of success. After 30 minutes of detecting I thought my Excalibur ii wasnt working. With a quick swing over my scoop and the loud scream, I knew it was. With the weather poor yesterday there wasnt many depositors out. Then bang! The first find of the day was a belly button ring...

I continued around the pier at cocoa beach and found several pennys and a few quarters that were resting there for some time, 2 other belly button rings, a bottle cap and a heart hat pin. I did not find any quarters. I guess this area has been picked over a lot because I found a part of a old pull tab and one newer one.

I'll be back out again tonight at low tide if the weather permits.

When will humans learn. Belly buttons are not suited for jewelry

Nice finds

I would think one would remove any jewelry before swimming at the beach.

I told my son to take off his ring before body boarding and he said no. I said you know you could lose it and you will be sad. He said no I wouldn't cause I'd tell you I lost it as you would find it. I said you know how big the ocean is boy! Go figure.... kids.
