Went out to see the Space Shuttle land yesterday. The twin sonic booms are hard to miss even with head phones on ! Didn't see much, just a streak across the sky. Stayed to hunt the low tide and found a Canadian quarter, 5 pence, 20 pence, and 2 Euro coin all in the same area Knee deep in the water. The 2 Euro is worth about $3.00 now and makes a different sound in the Excal than any US coin. ( Hey US mint, how about issuing a ten dollar coin ?! ) Also found the usual clad and lead, more than I expected during the slow season.

Wow those are great finds. I love Cocoa Beach!

Wish I could make it to Florida just once to see a launch!!!

nice collection of coins. If the U.S. mint were to make a $l0.00 coin it would be made of plastic, not very collectible.

Cool finds Tek, sounds like a nice time out on the beach WTG!

Just curious, but isn't being in the water there illegal? I have heard in the past that it was. Thanks and HH, Dennis

depends on where. it is ok to be in the water except areas where people hold leases on the wreck sights, or national wildlife refuges.

ok, thanks for the info. Dennis

Great finds. Good photos.

Thank you for Sharing.
