Went out to see the Space Shuttle land yesterday. The twin sonic booms are hard to miss even with head phones on ! Didn't see much, just a streak across the sky. Stayed to hunt the low tide and found a Canadian quarter, 5 pence, 20 pence, and 2 Euro coin all in the same area Knee deep in the water. The 2 Euro is worth about $3.00 now and makes a different sound in the Excal than any US coin. ( Hey US mint, how about issuing a ten dollar coin ?! ) Also found the usual clad and lead, more than I expected during the slow season.
