Yea, i think it needs a new coat of paint ::) ?There was some pretty nice stuff at the estate sale for free. ?Everything in the basement was free, i got alot of tools and hardware, some skeleton keys, a multitester, the coke cooler, a small bat, and there was alot of other cool stuff like an antique stove, alot of lumber, a chiminea, and a neat old chain. didnt have room to take any big stuff home though :-\

Neat find Jake,,, WTG!!!
I would have to agree with Beeper,,, if you want to sell it, I wouldn't paint it, most items are better off left as original as possible...
Coke products are usually a good find,, a lot of people collect them...
Good luck & Happy hunting~

Where do you put all that stuff? I've never seen a kid or rather a young man that likes to collect stuff like you do! But, keep it up, you have a knack for finding very interesting junque! :D I was much the same as a teenager and when I went away to the srvice my Mom cleaned house. I guess my Mom thought she was doing the right thing but she threw away my baseball card collection that would be worth several tens of thousands of dollars today! All my cards were autographed and I had a Mickey Mantle rookie card that was autographed, that one card alone worth about ten thou on todays market! Poor Mom, she never knew. Monty

Cool stuff Jake! Definitely leave it as is.
LOL Monty, almost wonder how similar our mom's are. Mine took my coin collection when I was aboout 10 and put it in a savings account to keep it safe. Lot's of silver halves and pennies from 1909 to 1958. :'( Oh well life goes on.

Jake there use to be an old radio program in the 40's and 50's called Fibber Magee and Molly.? It was a standing joke about Fibber Magee's closet.? Every time anyone opended the door they got covered up by junque that came tumbling out.? When I think of your room and closet and all that stuff you take home, that's what I think of!? Ask your Mom or Dad about Fibber Magee's closet....or one of your grandparents perhaps.? Gad, I'm making myself feel old!? Monty

I'll tell you guys what, I'm impressed with little Jake, i don't think i have ever seen a kid "young man" so involved in a hobby as this,
if I were his parents he can stack as many things in his and or my space anytime he wants. in todays world i know where this kid will be
if he is not in the house. sound like a good Mom too. keep it up Jake.

ps. I'll buy your batterys anytime

Yeah, I was just thinking the same thing. Jake always shows up with some neat stuff, and this is one of the better "scores". I would hang on to it Jake, in it's current condition. There may be a lot of them now, but in 20-30 years, who knows what it will be worth then, right? Coke items are ALWAYS a highly collectible item. I'd hang onto it, but hey, that's just me. Nice free find Jake, and keep 'em coming!!
