This 8 ounce bottle popped up in a trench at work today. I know certain city bottles are more rare than others, anyone know where this one ranks on the scale? Rough value?

It's always nice when something unexpected pops out of the ground. This style has been around a long, long while. I don't know about values, but one unusual thing I noticed is that it does not say PUEBLO CO. Some more knowledgeable members will be chiming in.

Good looking bottle, Ken. See my reply under "Today's Finds".

That's an awesome Coke! I never find Cokes like this, only clear ones from the 40s. I love that blue colour, wow. I don't collect Cokes, but I've got a hunch that this is a desirable bottle.

Your bottle is a Nov. 16 1915 patent bottle, that is the first generation of the classic "hobbleskirt" coke bottle. Those were primarily made from about 1915-1923.

Nice find Ken. Cleaned up this one will be a lovely shade of blue. The ice blues are the most sought after. Clean her up and show her off

Got it mostly cleaned up, there's a few spots of mud, and some mineral deposits left, but I'll get to those soon. It's pretty cloudy and grey here today and the pics don't do it justice, but it's a really nice shade of blue

These three are all from New Orleans, and have the patent number instead of date, I found them all under the same house there.... I think the Pueblo bottle will look good on a shelf with them.

I only asked about value because one of the guys I work with asked why I pick up "all those grimy old bottles" and I like to pick on him back, I never sell bottles, and they will all go to my daughter some day

Learn something new here every time i come here, found lots of coke bottles never knew they came in blue nice find
