The point was found not far from augusta,GA. It is made of coastal plains chert, Thanks for your comment.
 

Holy smokes! Can we please see the other side too? That is a fantastic piece! The patination is amazing! Curious to see the thinning flake(s) from the other side though as well. Congratulations!!!!!
