I'm not a hardcore CRH but I like to grab a few roll's whenever I think about it, anyway I went into a B.o Amer, branch and asked for some dimes and when the teller gave them to me I noticed they were Clear Wrapped [ i,m looking for silver] so almost instantly could tell there was no silver coins in the wrappers .[no fun searching those rolls] is there certain banks or places that use this type of wrapper that I should avoid? Thanks Davers

That is a sight for sore eyes, DD. I just went through 8 SKUNK boxes of dimes, none of them were brinks clear wrapped though and none of the boxes were solid 2013 either.

I do need to update the silver p0rn as the picture is old, but there is nothing wrong in vintage p0rn.

Nice, I never get tired of that pic DD! HH, Maverick.

I'll second the motion about dirty/stained rims. I date check all my dimes, even the ones in plastic wrap from Brinks (in which I have found several). Keep stacking.

I hate plastic tubes just based on how hard they are to open at work. When I am CRHing I can use the tip of a knife to slice them over. Can't do that at work. You have to bend and twist the tube enough to push the coins out. So annoying. when emptying them, I check my sight and sound when doing dimes and quarters just for the dirty rim issue. Also I find that war nicks and buffs make a different sound that newer nickels.

Sincerely, GarouLady
