I recently got a collection of about 30 coins from a deceased family member. One of the coins is not very good looking (looks dug). Does anyone know how to clean it without causing too much damage (it is a low value coin, but I still want to display it in my collection. The coin is copper nickel (not clad, CuNi throughout). I am interested in cleaning both the corrosion and patina.

Dremel has a variety of brushes besides the metal one. The fiber brush would fix this up nicely.

I got another one of these in non-dug condition, so I will just vinegar and salt this coin.
