Clad and cars and planes "Oh My'
I received a phone call from a friend of mine Thursday. He said he borrowed a pioneer 101 and wanted to know if I would be interested in coming down to "play around" in his yard.He said that he had no idea how to operate it but maybe we could figure it out.I searched online found the owners manual, printed it out and we were ready.I was excited because the house is an early 1900's house. It was first used as a hotel for railroad employees. Then it was sold and turned into a house, sold again converted to apartments. So the place has alot of history.I never in my wildest dreams could imagine the clad and cars we recovered from half of the yard.We hit it hard Thursday & Friday.Today only for a few hours then it started raining. To be honest I was glad because I really needed a break We recovered a total of $11.36 in clad,a few wheats,19 cars,2 planes,a token from Cerro Copper and Brass Co. 11/15/67 Open House Made From First Rod Run on Cerrobelle Bellefonte Works,a Pin from Pennsylvania Dept. of Forest and Water Forest Guide. No date on the pin there are these words found around the Shield Protection-Production-Perpetuation-Products.Also assorted keys.An eagle pin that I cant identify.A weird type key.Thought it might be for parking meters.Don't know.Any ideas on that one?Hopefully we are thru the clad and cars now the silver will start showing up.I think my friend is hooked now and will be buying his own detector soon! 8) Keep your coil to the soil Happy Hunting
