Went back to the spot we found yesterday(see earlier post) and what a great day we had!!
Started out with a wiped colonial coin and a few drop and fired bullets, I left my other half
to her spot and went off on my way, found a spot by a old road(thank you old map) and started
finding flat buttons, then out popped a 1798 flowing hair large cent, this is the one that you can still read the date! I was very happy with these finds but still wanted to hunt so I went up a hill and started to find dropped bullets and up popped a U.S. box plate (Thanks DFX) at 12+ inched
Then the snake buckle hook and a U.S. butt plate, What a day!!The piece
in the upper left
of the photo came out to,Don't know what it is,It still has wood in the hole so maybe a end to
somekind of pole? any help? When she came over to me she had the brass tag with (A.C. 91)
it was right in the middle of the other relics so it
might be of the same period, This spot has only
just begun to give up it history, I'll post as We find!! Happy hunting!!
