Found a buckle in my yard by the barn. Had a hard time finding a match until I saw it called a bulls eye pattern… anyway I know lots of people like to say the heart buckle guards are civil war but they are / can be much more modern. Seeing this listed on worth point as civil war makes me believe it could be, I guess I don’t really know anything about worth points reputation… so is this really civil war or just another misrepresentation?

I always thought Worth point was pretty good in the descriptions.
I'm always open ears to hear if their embellish stuff to get readership.

I have found a few heart buckle shields and from what I understand, they are post CW. At least the patent is later than the CW
