Civil War Navy Button and Iowa.....

WooHoo, more relics turned up for me today. I think I've found another Civil War era navy button, the back is crusted over so I think I'm gonna try to clean this one to look for a mark. I also found an Iowa State Traveling Mens Assn. medallion. I'm definately gonna have to research to see who lived on this property now and just what kind of history they had. Picked up some more clad and a 1947 D Wheatie as well.

Thanks for the help Jeff....I didn't think about it being a FOB.
I'm not sure what it's made of (yet)....bounced between a quarter and 50 cents on my XLT. Now if I can just find that gold watch that it was attached to. Happy Hunting. Dan
