The object in the middle of the photo is called a brass 2-piece "ball button." The type you found was first manufactured in the late-1820s, and still being made and worn today. They been worn by civilians, State Militia troops (all over the country), and Military School cadets (for example, they are still worn on Virginia Military Institute cadet uniforms today). Unless there is a backmark (maker or dealer's mark) on a ball-button's back there is no way to date it with any certainty. I cannot see a backmark on yours. It was probably made sometime before the 20th Century, but there's no way to be sure whether it was made before, during, or after 1861-65.

To ID the other two objects in the photo, we need to see them with all the dirt scrubbed off, and need photos of their other side.
